Bywater PSCM have been working with BAES to deliver bespoke Contract Management training for Birmingham City Council employees for over 4 years. The original two day workshop was designed in conjunction with the BCC Central Procurement Service team to provide insight to best practice contract management for staff involved in managing a wide range of contracts across the Council. The workshop examines our own Bywater PSCM model for contract management and provides delegates with the opportunity to explore BCC contract management policy and guidance, practice essential contract performance management soft skills and develop improvement plans specific to their own contracts. Feedback from BCC staff attending the workshop has been very positive in all respects.
We are delighted to have been approached to broaden our offering by BAES and have initially added a one day Negotiation Skills and Techniques Workshop which is being made available to all BCC staff from the summer of 2018.
